long time coming

I love how the peacefulness of the Temple is captured in this shot. It reminds me of the promises we were making inside possibly at this exact moment.
Thank goodness for photos and video! I'm not sure I would have remembered very much from this day otherwise.  Many many many thanks are much deserved to family and friends who traveled and took time out of their busy schedules to spend a very cold January Saturday celebrating our marriage. In two hours it will be two months of newlywed bliss! The Captain and I remark frequently about how much easier and better marriage has been than we previously expected. Maybe we worked out all the kinks while we were engaged? Probably not, but it really has been an easy adjustment and I'll take it for as long as I can get it.

I am so glad that I let God guide me, even if obstinate at times, through this journey. His infinite wisdom, insight and foresight are proven to me again and again. So, without further ado, here are a few photos from our big day, thanks to Jenna Rammel, a good friend of my sister Emily, who was willing to play photographer for us. She did an excellent job!

Not sure if the face I am making is because of all the loving faces I'm looking at or the frigid temperature.
I love my bouquet (I finally got to study it from the photos). Annie and Courtney Grow did a fantastic job on the flowers
The Captain.
All of my sisters (and nieces minus Lola)
