hello fall!

This is kind of how I feel right now. I have three book cases full of books in my tiny, ity-bity room. And come August 20th, I'll probably have half-a-dozen more to add. I love books, don't get me wrong, I just need my own library or den or study or maybe all three in a big house that is already paid off!

p.s. in a perfect world, we could all afford to live the j.crew lifestyle and wear their clothing.

Charity, I am totally the same way. I love books. I am passing this on to Payton as well. She already has a bookcase full! But I figure that is not a bad thing.

I also love the clothes.

i have boxes full of books! They have never managed to make their way to a shelf!! Maybe soon.

Good luck this upcoming year. I'll be thinking about you!

Have you ever lay in the shallow end of the city swimming pool reading a paperback, with the book blocking the piercing sun, and the blue and white dotted sky for a brilliant backdrop as the water lapped at your skin and the breeze blew you cool?

It is a not to be missed experience.

The Family in Utah went to Borders for FHE monday night and came out with the biggest ring up of the day. BK and CJ have had their noses buried ever since and are reading till 3:00 a.m. and then waking groggily at noon. . .the last hurrah of the summer before school begins.
My pick? a beautifully photographed "Raw Food --Real World" book; subtitled "100 recipes to Get the Glow"--delicious reading. I've already hammered open my first young coconut and drunk the juice and sliced up raw "noodles" from the flesh! Yum....

I'm splitting my rare and precious reading moments between deep diving in Avraham Gileadi's "Isaiah Decoded"and munching thoughtlessly through "Uglies" by Scott Westerfeld.

May summer and reading forever be your state of mind!
