"In the Fallows"

A Fallow of land is plowed and left unseeded for a season or more; uncultivated. The idea behind it is to give the land a rest, to rejuvenate and replenish nutrients and to prepare the land for the next seeding.

It's good for land and it's good for crops to have a fallow season. I know the scriptures say there is a time to sow and a time to reap. What about a time to be in the fallows? I think it could be good for people too.

I cannot take all of the credit. I got the wisdom from a book and my bishop.

Great picture. I love it. Thanks for your comment on my blog. The whole Planned Parenthood thing is just sad to me. The idea that it is happening and no one is stopping it is just crazy. Thanks!
